Current classroom (AtomChat)

Muzeg™ lessons currently run on AtomChat, which supports audio and video recording. Recording controls appear in the call interface (availability may depend on your room configuration and role).

• Consent required: Always ask for and obtain explicit consent from all participants before recording.
• How to use: Use the recording control in the call toolbar to start/stop a recording. If a student prefers not to be recorded, keep the lesson live-only.

Upcoming classroom (LessonSpace)

Muzeg™ is rolling out LessonSpace, which also includes session recording. Once enabled for your account, you’ll see recording controls inside the LessonSpace classroom.

Troubleshooting your setup

• Ensure your mic/camera meet platform requirements and permissions are granted. See Device Requirements.
• If recording controls aren’t visible, check you’re in a supported classroom and logged in with the correct role.

Good practice

• Inform students at the start of the lesson if recording will take place and why (e.g., revision).
• Stop/pause the recording during sensitive moments upon request.
