Muzeg™ takes privacy seriously. Both the teacher and the student must agree to record a lesson.
When you join the Muzeg™ Classroom, look for the Recording Authorization Switch in the top right corner. It's set to "On" by default. If you don't want to record the lesson, switch to "Off." Your choice will be remembered for all future lessons.
If both participants have their switches set to "On," a Record Button will appear. If either has it set to "Off," the button will not be visible to either user.
Click the Record Button to start recording. You will be prompted to permit to share your screen. Make sure to agree to this and adjust your system settings if necessary. For assistance with screen sharing, refer to Muzeg™'s help guides.
You have the ability to pause or halt the recording whenever you wish. When you finish, choose where to save the recording. If you accidentally close or refresh your browser, you can re-enter the classroom and save your last recording.
Recordings are saved locally on your computer in WEBM format and can be viewed in a supported browser. Muzeg™ does not store or access your recordings; they are not uploaded to any server.
It is recommended that lesson recording not be allowed for those concerned about privacy. Always ask for permission before recording a lesson. Recordings are intended solely for personal review purposes.
Allowing recording does not grant rights for any other use, including commercial or promotional purposes. Muzeg™ is not responsible for any misuse of recorded content. Teachers and students who agree to record are accountable for their behaviour and the use of the recordings.
Recording quality may vary based on equipment, internet connection, and browser. Muzeg™ is not liable for any issues or damages related to recording or saving failures.
By following these guidelines, you can use the recording feature in Muzeg™ Classroom effectively and responsibly. Happy teaching!
